Moving from YourTradebase
YourTradebase exports what's on screen, so set the dates to cover everything first.
Steps checked Saturday 17 October 2026. Menus change, so if something has moved, tell us.
Export from YourTradebase
- Choose dates. Open Customers, Quotes, Jobs or Invoices. Under From, choose Choose dates… and pick a range that covers everything.
- Export. Use Export these… to download the list. Repeat for each list.
- Check the filter. The export only includes what's on screen, so make sure the filter shows everything before you export.
Bring it into Vellier
- In Vellier, open Settings › Moving to Vellier and choose YourTradebase.
- Drop in the files. Vellier recognises each one and shows a dry run.
- Check the fix list, then import. Nothing is sent to clients while quiet mode is on.
What becomes live
- Open jobs become live projects
- Unpaid invoices become balances to collect
Set up again by hand
- Your old statuses and pipelines (Vellier has its own)
- Quote and invoice templates, numbering and reminder rules (set them in Vellier)
- User permissions (give people their roles again in Team)
- Automations from the old system (turn them off there)
