Moving from Jobber

Jobber exports clients and products as CSV, and quotes, jobs and invoices through its reports.

Steps checked Monday 2 November 2026. Menus change, so if something has moved, tell us.

Export from Jobber

  1. Clients. Open Clients, press More Actions (top right), then Export Clients. Choose CSV and press Export. Jobber emails you the file when it's ready.
  2. Products and services. Open your Products & Services list and export it.
  3. Quotes, jobs and invoices. Open Reports and download the Quotes, Jobs and Invoices reports as CSV.
  4. Visits. If you want upcoming visits in Vellier's planner, export the visits or schedule report.

Bring it into Vellier

  1. In Vellier, open Settings › Moving to Vellier and choose Jobber.
  2. Drop in the files. Vellier recognises each one and shows a dry run.
  3. Check the fix list, then import. Nothing is sent to clients while quiet mode is on.

What becomes live

  • Active jobs become live projects
  • Unpaid invoices become balances to collect
  • Upcoming visits can go in the planner

Set up again by hand

  • Your old statuses and pipelines (Vellier has its own)
  • Quote and invoice templates, numbering and reminder rules (set them in Vellier)
  • User permissions (give people their roles again in Team)
  • Automations from the old system (turn them off there)
