Importing your data

Bring clients, jobs, prices and unpaid invoices across from another system.

Open Settings › Moving to Vellier and choose the system you use today. Then:

  1. Export CSV files from your old system. The export guides show where each list lives.
  2. Drop the files in. Vellier recognises each file from its columns and shows a dry run before anything is saved.
  3. Fix anything on the list (duplicates, missing postcodes) and import.

Quiet mode holds automatic client messages until your go-live date, so nothing goes out while you're setting up. See switch in a weekend for a full plan.
